1 Peter 2:4-8
There are many metaphors used in Scripture to help us understand our relationship to Christ and to our Father more clearly. We are part of Christ’s body, members of God’s family, part of the household of God, and a temple of the Lord.
It would strengthen our faith to remember the fact of our very intimate relationship with the Lord of Glory.
1PET 2:4ff “And coming to Him as to a living stone which has been rejected by men, but is choice and precious in the sight of God, you also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house for a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.”
